Charlie is Senior Vice President at Qualcomm Inc. Charlie is in charge of all Qualcomm's RF, analog and mixed signal platforms, spanning product definition and IC design, product design, production, and test engineering. Charles has over 26 years of engineering experience. At Qualcomm, Charlie built the RF/analog engineering team from one to over 350 engineers and led the team to become the number one RFIC supplier worldwide, shipping over 750 million RF/Analog ICs annually and generating annual revenue in excess of one billion dollars. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Charlie held a variety of engineering roles at leading technology companies including Philips Semiconductors, Trimble Navigation, AT&E, Honeywell Space Systems, and General Electric Avionics systems. Charles has numerous patents and over 10 pending patent applications in the field of IC design and systems engineering. He has published papers in a variety of technical publications and is a frequent speaker at technical conferences and symposiums. Most recently, Charles was the keynote speaker at the 2007 RFIC Symposium. Charles earned his M.S. in electrical engineering from Syracuse University and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in electrical engineering from Union College.
